10 Gallon Tank Water Changes

Hi so I’m new to the hobby. I started cycling my 10g tank 2 weeks ago and I still need a lot of information on the water changes and all of that. So my question is if I need to use API Quick Start with every water change or is enough to only use prime? When I went to the store to they told me that I needed to add quick start and prime with every water change but I have asked some people and they said that I don’t really need quick start so can someone help a sis out please? ☹

It's a difference in opinion, some think quick start works, others think it doesn't so it's a waste of money. Basically it's supposed to be the bacteria starter culture.

Prime, on the other hand, does need used every time, this is your water conditioner/chlorine remover. Use this every water change

Were you doing fishless cycle or fish in?

It sounds like you're doing a fishless cycle? If yes, I believe the text will be a link to an article about it. I've never done one, but I don't think you're supposed to change water until it's cycled.

If you're cycling it with fish it's a different situation.
