Wasting disease help in Canada!

It appears some of my danios and tetras have wasting disease. White stringy poop and the three danios I’ve lost so far had sunken in belly’s. Just found out today meds to treat internal parasites are no longer available in Canada. I’ve even tried to feed my fish minced garlic as from what I’m ready it could help kill parasites, but I think there’s debate on this, I don’t know.

Can anyone suggest any ideas how to treat this? Also should I transfer the ones that have the white poop so they don’t infect the others?
Much appreciated

Kordon rid ich plus apparently can be used, soak food in it for internal parasites. You can get it on Amazon. At least this is what I was told. Ill search my old threads to find it to be sure.

And hello to a fellow frustrated canadian! Just pray you don't get skin flukes like here. Pain to deal with since best meds for them aren't available.

Edit: yes its been advised here to me.

Its worth a shot

If you have to treat one, you have to treat them all as they all likely have it

I've been told soaking their food in epsom salt will help them pass parasites also, as long as they're still eating.

Thank you Miss Noodle! Nice to see a fellow Canadian in here
Thanks for the info, I went to Petland and they actually have recommended to try fish food soaked in Epsom salt. I’ll give an update in a few days to see how it’s working.

Thank you angry rainbow! Funny at the pet store this morning they told me the same thing, soak food in a epsom salt & water solution until the food turns to mush. I’ll see how it goes! Thanks again!
