I've recently started stocking my 40 gallon long and I had a stock already planned out but I'm thinking twice now. I was originally planning on using tetras for a schooling fish but I am now thinking a loosely defined asian biotope. Right now it has kuhlis and 2 pearl gourami. The temperature I was going to keep around 77 but I can go higher if the stock prefers it. So what are some good schooling fish from asia that like water 77 degrees plus? I'm super bummed cpds like it colder, they're easily my favorite looking fish. Side note: what about a secondary centerpiece fish that would get along with my gourami? I was thinking bolivian rams before but those obviously are not from asia.
