Warm temp schooling fish

hi everyone! my aquariums in the summer max out at 84 degrees. Because of this I usually keep my tanks at around 82 degrees. I am stocking a 37 gallon tank and I was planning on adding some schooling fish. I hear cardinal tetras can go with discus so I'm assuming they can tolerate warm Temps. Is that true? And is there any other suggestions? I plan on housing them with German blue rams and/or two apistogrammas. Most likely a bristlenose pleco as well.

Bristlenose no. A clown pleco or bulldog would be a better choice. Cardinals will be fine at that temp.

Cardinals are definitely fine. In fact, all mine died after the power went out. Water was in the high 40s F. Miraculously all my other tropical fish were not too affected. Not visibly, anyway. This brings me to conclude, cardinals really do like it warm. Clown pleco is fine as well, for that temp.

I keep lemon tetras in 80-82 degrees water.
