Wanted to introduce the boys. Still settling in so names may not be final until personalities really show. But here are the new, beautiful boys. Already personalities are starting to come out and I can say I am falling in love with these guys. What amazing aquatic adoptions.
The first two that went into homes were a mustard half moon who is going by Ziggy Stardust (“Ziggy”) guess if I ever got shrimp in there I would have to call them Spiders from Mars (for any old Bowie fans out there).
The next boy is a beautiful purple
rose tail named Charles Foster “Rosebud” Kane -from Citizen Kane - or (“Rosebud”).
The third boy had a rough go getting in his home. He was the one I picked up with the other two but his tank arrived shattered so had to run to Petco and pick up a tank for him the next day so he floated in 36 gallon tank with frequent water changes in his cup for 2 days. So, he has done a lot of glass surfing getting settled in. Anyway, this is “Jasper”-another rose tail .
Those were the original boys. The last two are a beautiful crowntail that I have been calling “Moonshadow”. He was listed as black and was for the first day and then these beautiful colors started showing. Blues with a beautiful white-grey-blue rays!!!! What a beautiful boy. Still kind of shy so don’t have great pictures. Edit: Not really sure if his name may be Moonshadow or “Carlisle” (from Twilight). Well, why not both? Carlisle Moonshadow. Hmmmm
And the last boy is a beige double tail half moon. Just been calling him Celestial Pearl (“Pearl”) for now. What a gorgeous boy!!!! Haven’t been able to get a great shot of him yet.
