My ten gallon needs to be stocked after I cycle Which of these should I do (Just a quick note, please read the description)? All need to be avalible at Petsmart or Petco. If you have any other plans, let me know and ill add them. Thanks

1. Betta tank
1 F betta
RCS/amano shrimp
snails
I already have a betta in my other 10 so im kind of iffy on this one.

2. Guppies and endlers
3 M guppies (different tail types, like lyretail and fancy)
4 M endlers
RCS
snails
Really liking this idea. I've never had any of these species and I think that the endlers make it more interesting. Plus, my tank is set up well for this.

Are you sure you can find endlers at petco/petsmart? And the guppies and endlers may pick at the rcs. My endlers haven't picked on Ghost or Blue Dream Shrimp, but guppies I have had before have gone after shrimp. Otherwise, I like the second option.

I have been told (at least at Petco) that if they don't have it in stock you can always ask if they can order the fish you want and have it shipped. I've never tried it but you might have more options than you realize. I would do CPD or chili rasboras with RCS and/or snails just my opinion.

Chili rasboras and RCS that would be beautiful!

You could maybe do a honey gourami instead of a betta,
With maybe some small tetra or other small fish/shrimp.

I don't think all Petcos do that, but some might.

My local petsmart carries them :shame:

Will the amanos work better? I can post a pic of my tank later.

My problem is that CPDs and chilis are expensive at my LFS, which is 45 minutes away anyway, and my Petsmart won't order fish for me.

Also, my LFS charges $6 for each RCS and I refuse to pay that much.

Yep, Amanos will probably work better, and be cheaper. Guppies, endlers, and amanos would be great!

Amano shrimp will eat algae, algae pellets, and I think veggies. I don't know about the guppies as I have never had any.
