Vitamin and Garlic Supplements

This would really have more to do with fish health than fish disease, but, six of one, half a dozen of the other, I guess.

I am really scared to go through a fish disease and want to do everything to prevent it. Same as with humans and animals we've had before, there are also nutritional supplements for fish (I'm almost half-way surprised, ALMOST! lol)

Is it OK to use these on a daily basis? I hope to soak the food, I don't want to add to water. Will one drop be too much for each meal since a teaspoonful is enough for 50 gallons? I was thinking of alternating the Garlic and Vitamin supplements. Vitamin for breakfast and Garlic for dinner. Will they harm my fish?

Is there anyone who is opposed to using such supplements? Why?

Are there any other supplements I should know about?

well, I add 1/2 the recommended dose of vitachem, but add it daily instead of weekly. The only negative we've ever seen from it is some cloudiness if we use the full dose daily. we have some garlic guard now but i've not started using it yet.

You add Vitachem to the water, not the food? I like supplements that you add to the food, like Garlic Guard.

Actually the instructions say you can do either. You can soak the food or add it to the water as an indirect method.

Good question aaron

Thanks, I try. I ask many, many questions as you can see. I guess every once in a while I come up with a good one lol.

Just a quick note here about Vitachem. It can also be added to food and should be at least one time a week and allowed to soak in. The dose is sometimes not taken as well as with Garlic Gaurd but it is taken as the vitamins are recommended to be used that way so they are internal as well as extenal usage type of things.
