Vitachem And Inverts??

I purchased Vitachem Freshwater formula for my tank to aid my tetras who have some mild ammonia poisoning. After purchasing, I realised it doesn't say whether it's safe for inverts. I have 4 tiger nerites and 3 ghost shrimp in my tank. I emailed the company but haven't heard back as of yet and probably won't for a few days as I just realised they are in FL! They are busy preparing for hurricane Irma. Anyone know or use this product??

Roughly these are the ingredients "Ascorbic acid, marine algae (ulva and kelp), plankton extract, biotin, soluble brewer's yeast, cobalamine concentrate, L-Lysine HCL, d-alpha tocopherol, inositol folic acid, and hydrochloride monohydrate. "

So nothing copper related so you should be just fine.

The best treatment for ammonia poisoning is water changes to remove the ammonia, by the way. With a good diet, your fish shouldn't need additional supplements like this.

Vita Chem didn't bother my mystery snails, not sure about shrimp tho.

I agree with TexasDomer - water changes are the best cure for ammonia poisoning.

I continue to do wc but I thought maybe it would give them an extra boost. Thanks for the input.
