HI folks,

My brackish tank has been running well with the Dragon Goby for quite some time now (8 months?). But the last week I noticed he seems to have some injuries to his lips. I recently re-arranged the tank, moving the Texas Holey rock around and this had made him way more active (until I moved them he had one true hiding place, now he has 5 or 6). It's now about 3 weeks after that move around and I wonder if he's just head-butting the rock a bit while finding his way around?

Healthy pic can be seen here:

Current pic attached. Please note that it did look larger a few days ago, it's actually got better.

Water parameters are good, I do weekly changes and keep about 1.008.

Thanks,

Tim.

It's possible he's digging in the sand and getting scraped, yeah, not least because the rock is under the sand in places and he stubbornly tries to dig his way under it sometimes before he realizes he can't fit as there's no space.

I think I'd be more worried if there were a change in his behavior. I work from home so I get to see him at all times except when I sleep and I haven't noticed any changes. He's eating good, too.

If he acts ok and is eating I wouldn't worry too much
