Very kewl! Baby snail

I was cleaning my tank yesterday and found the tiniest baby nerite snail! I have 2 others and everywhere I read is that they will not breed in freshwater tanks...well mine did. I haven’t added new plants in a long time so it couldn’t have been carried in that way. It’s the cutest thing!

My daughter took a video.. that was the only way to see it because it was so teenie. I’ll get the video from her. It’s cute as heck with its little antennas lol

That looks to be a bladder snail. Definitely not a nerite.

Really?? How the heck did I get one of those?? I haven’t added anything new to my tank in a long time.

Possibly eggs that were on the plants and didn’t hatch right away. When they first hatch they are way smaller than that even. I have about 20 bladder snails in my 20 gallon. They only get about 1/2” or so
