I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. I purchased a Aqueon gravel vaccum & water filler. When you use the water filler, when do you add chlorine remover and with it draining into sink, how do you know how nuch to add?

Not a dumb question at all.

Add the dechlorinator when you start to fill up the tank. Add enough dechlorinator to treat the entire tank, not just the water you're replacing.

Yeah, not a dumb question at all. Lots of people have asked it, including me.

The only time you ever only use enough conditioner for just the water being added is if you are gathering the water, treating it, and then adding the pretreated water to the tank.

Anytime you are adding untreated water directly to the tank, you'll want to use enough to treat the whole thing.

harpua and Meenu gave excellent advice.

I also have the ViaAqua M200 HOB, a small ViaAqua 302 internal filter and a couple of Hydro sponge filters ... all of which I got from them.
