Vacation Without Food

So I am going away for 5 days and wasn't able to get anyone to feed my fish. Will the fish be ok without food that long or should I expect some to die? If I need to overnight ship an auto feeder I will but don't want to if I'm over worrying. This week I've been feeding more than normal hoping to fatten them up. I plan on doing a 50% water change the day before I leave.

Tank details:
38 gallon tank
Water around 78.5 degrees
Aquaclear 70 filter
4 serpae tetra
6 harlequin rasboras
2 honey gourami
1 tiger platy
4 bandit cory
2 sterbaI cory

Thoughts? Will they be ok or do I need to run out for an auto feeder?

just do your WC before you go and as long as its an established cycled tank they will be fine.

I have gone for 5 days in the past and sure they were hungry when I returned but no problem and sometimes a fasting period is not a bad thing. Some of them may even help you get rid of a little bit of algae also....

If you were growing out fry or juveniles it would be another story.....enjoy your trip.

Agree, they should be fine, as mentioned do a WC. I know some keepers do not trust anyone to feed because usually they overfeed. Some go away for 2 weeks+. Also, heard of horror stories with the auto feeders.
Enjoy your vacation.
