Have anyone ever tried using as their aquarium cover? If yes, would it be easy to cut hole for HOB filter?

You could probably make your own to custom size with some window mesh and sliding window frame connectors.

I have one on a 20 tall my husband cut a hole for my filter and I just put my light on top I haven't had any problems you can cut a smaller hole right in the mesh for feeding or h2o tests

Nice. Have you observed any rusting?

I m thinking of doing my own net cover but too lazy to go through all the trouble of measuring and cutting to fit my tank. That why I prefer to just buy this terrarium cover instead

No rusting but if your worried get a little dab of silicone and brush it on where you cut- rust is bad for reptiles too

I think the net would sag over time might be more trouble than it's worth?
