Hello all!

I was wondering if anyone had tried using water from water changes as a source of nutrients for indoor plants? I've read a few positive reports online.

I'm going to a/b trial with some basil seedlings, but wanted to hear of any success/failures from the community.

I use it to water plants, both potted outdoors and indoors. It is good for the plants but shouldn't be the only source of fertilizer, especially if you have a planted aquarium since the plants use the nutrients.

Well it’s certainly better than using tap water.

i use dirty tank water to water my plants whenever i remember to save some lol, with a lot of success because there is a ton of nutrients in the old water from the inhabitants

I use all my "old" water from water changes for watering plants.

I used old aquarium water on my little apple tree last year and it gave the biggest crop ever. I've always used it on my houseplants too

I use it on my lawn - turned a burnt out bristle in about two weeks into the best lawn in my neighborhood, although it seems to be drawing cats now...

I have always used it on my plants. I have a dwarf apple tree in the garden and I started using the water on it last year. We've never had such a good crop
