Using malathion in the fish room for plants

Masoud

hello, guys I have some succulents in my room they are like 3 meters away from my fish tanks, recently the plants got infected with fungus gnats, so I'm gonna spray some malathion on them,I'm not gonna spray it in the room, but I can't leave the plants outside cause the weather is very cold right now,is it safe to bring plants back to the room once I sprayed malathion on them?
ive never had to use any kind of chemical for my plants so its the first time, just want to be sure that its not gonna cause any problem to my tanks

When you look up malathion it says it’s relatively safe for plants and animals, so as long as you don’t spray them near your tank you should be fine.
