Using Garlic Juice on flake food?

hello, so I recently had an angelfish die from a parasite issue, and although I took him out of the tank right away into a QT tank and tried to cure him but failed miserably.

Just thinking and wondering would it be any benefit to use garlic juice on fish food flakes for the rest of the healthy looking fish in the main tank? even though there's no signs of anything? Kind of like a precaution? Or would using garlic juice on healthy fish cause issues? Also what about one day just using medication food instead. Just for precaution in case they do catch something or it may be starting and I don't see it yet.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I always thought garlic juice was mainly to give the food a scent and flavor to entice a picky fish to eat. I could be wrong on that, though.
Garlic helps fishes immune system and helps flush their digestive tract. At least this is what I've been told
