So I have a 55 gallon that I have been cycling for about 3 weeks now. Well I’m pretty sure it stalled so I did a complete water change and added dr Tim’s fishless cycle kit on fri. These are the instructions and my first reading. Any help reading the colors would be appreciated because I am a bit color blind

Day 2 of dr Tim’s. Had to do a 50% water change because the nitrites were over 5.0. Dosed 50 drops of ammonia in after. IMG_5150.jpg

I'm color blind also. As you know, you can usually figure out colors not by looking but by studying them. My wife has good color vision and by comparing the colors she saw with the colors I saw, I was able to learn which colors matched the color chart. I got to the point where my interpretation matched hers exactly.

So it looks like it turned the ammonia into nitrite in 24 hrs. IMG_5173.jpg
