Hey, I'm going to be setting up CO2 in my 20 Long soon and was wondering if using a mix of Argon and CO2 would be detrimental in any way. My Dad can get me a mixture of CO2 and Argon practically for free which he uses for welding. I know Argon is inert but was wondering if anyone has prior experience with it.

No, argon is an asphyxiant. You'd gas your fish to death by displacing oxygen.
