30 Gallon Tank (URGENT) Help me level my aquarium

This is a 112L rimless tank, sitting flat on a styrofoam mat on a shimmed stand. It’s in my bedroom, second floor.

My current measurements (As close as I can measure) are the following:

Front (Left to right): 1cm unlevel, left side higher than the right.

The right side looks even to me, if anything . uneven at the most. Although I can’t see any difference.

The left side measures .2cm unlevel, the front measuring higher than the back.

Are these measurements safe if I was not to shim any further?

I’m in no rush with this tank, so I’m happy to drain and shim etc. Please help me get this level. I’ve attached pictures of each side and the shims etc.

Personal opinion the lean of water to me is fine.

The problem I have is your double stacked shims. Such small contact to ground on that side of lower stand creates a twist in the stand. Plus if you bump that shim w vacuum or toe in middle of night it could slide loose.

Shims are ment to fill gaps more so than raise and hold weight.

That amount of lean is irrelevant in my opinion, but if you want to correct it, don't use a doorstop. Put some solid wood cut to size (ex 2x4 piece of wood) under the stand's shorter side.

Do you think I could get away with single shims instead of the double? Would they cause a twist?

Do you mean make a shim out of 2x4 of similar size? Or just shim 2x4 under the stand? I’m worried that cause a lot of wobble.

I had a 1/2 inch level difference in my 75 gallon. I grabbed a 1/2 inch piece of lumber I had lying around, cut it to size, and placed it under the feet of my stand on the side that was low. Worked like a charm for me.

I have drained the tank and moved the stand. Without any shimming and everything sitting flat (tank and stand on carpet), these are my findings.

Is this safe long term or should I shim it in the morning?

Also, is shimming the stand and making the water level more important than the stand resting flat on the carpet without any shims?

In my opinion, you are fine with it the way it is.

I would too. It’s very hard to actually give you an honest answer as I am not in the room looking at the tank. So many factors come into play.

I can help with that, please just tell me how!

The stand is built to hold 1000L and is on the second floor of the house.

I wouldn’t double stack shims like that
