So I filled up my new (bought it used) 72 gallon bowfront aquarium and I noticed the brace was doing this IMG_0604.JPG is there anything I can do to fix this? Or is the tank broken beyond repair? Should I empty the tank ASAP or would it be okay to sit overnight?

I definitely would remove the water. A tank that big would need a brace. It’s bowing too much and will probably cause a crack on the tank.
You can fix it, build a new trim and brace out of acrylic. I don’t know exactly how to build it but it’s possible.

I just got done draining most of the water so it's barely bowing anymore. I'm going to try to call the LFS that I bought it from in the morning to see if I could return it. I was looking at ways to build a new brace but I don't have any way of cutting glass or acrylic so I don't know if that is an option for me.
