Hello everyone...I have a peppered Cory cat that has been swimming like he's drunk for weeks now...he disappeared for a while that I actually thought he died...but then I saw him again swimming around but not right...yesterday I found him completely upside down at the top of the tank...I put him in my breeders net so he wouldn't float all over the place assumed he was dying but I woke up this morning and he's still alive in there and still upside down...I feel terrible he is breathing hard and eyes a little bulging...could this be swim bladder I was reading about? Please someone help he is suffering and I don't know Wut to do

This may be a sign that it's going to die soon, I may be corrected. What I would do is do daily water changes and hope for the best.

What's your tank size? Is it cycled? What are the paremeters?
Other tank mates?
Answer these questions until the fish experts get here

55 gallon...yes it is cycled...ammonia 0 nitrites 0 PH 7.4 nitrates 10...guppies, other Cory cats...glo tetras...red eye tetras...2 otocynclus...Zebra danios...I have him in the breeders net now...I'm at work...when I get home I will transfer him to a small tank I have...I just feel so terrible...if he's dying I just wish he would go already...I like want to hold him upright! I can't imagine feeling sick and being upside down

Sorry to read about your cory. A photo would help but it doesn't sound promising. If you feel he's suffering, euthanizing him with clove oil would be best. DoubleDutch or Coradee can help

Two of my albino corys did that exact same thing. The corys couldn't swim right. They would lay upside down or float around the tank like they were already dead.
I had a 10gal hospital tank running (twig catfish with bacterial infection) and placed them in there. The tank had kanaplex. After a day, both corys started swimming correctly. Then, after a few more days, they looked normal.
They're back in their 75 gallon and don't show any signs of bloat or swim bladder
I made a thread about it, not sure how to find it.
