Upgraded to a 20 gallon

So excited for this new 20 gallon ada tank . I’m in search for lid options . Any suggestions ? Pictures included . Just set it up the other day and waiting for new light to arrive . I have planted many plants yet , just added plants from my other tank till I buy some more .

 

Amazon sells acrylic clips meant rimless tanks. Find a pre-cut glass top or have a piece cut. Sheets of polycarbonate can be bought at stores like Home Depot, Lowes, or Menards. You could cut out where you needed for equipment and feeding.

My tank came with a lid but I spent some time researching options just in case I found a tank without a top. Plus, I have a cat. My tank has to be cat proof.

Lol I was at Home Depot yesterday and they wanted $65 for the size that I needed .
I didn’t want to spend that much if I have to do the work to cut and make it fit . I’ll do that if there’s no other options

I wouldn't want to pay $65 and still have to do all the work either. For that price it would be worth it to see how much it would cost to get a piece of glass cut.

Just found this local place called makerlab
They quoted me $45 +tax for what I want done
