Interesting way to do it, but wouldn't you consider a lid that is clear?

I had clear round ones. But were too small. Just what I had for free in drawer. But I don't have any high high light plants so not an issue.

Just aesthetic for me, much rather have a clear than a red that's all.

Bottoms were used for fluval stratum tubs in shrimp tanks. So kids were free and double size as old. These are perfect.

Shrimp enjoy shade
