I currently have a betta, which I’ve had for a few months, as well as a platy that I’ve had for over a year now.
at the start of the week i began seeing my platy resting in the same spot on the bottom of the tank which I’ve never seen before
however, when I move something near it like a plant it gets up and keeps swimming like normal
I also had a small pleco from petsmart in the tank as well for around three weeks and it seemed to be doing fine until I noticed it had died suddenly today, I’m not sure how long it was sitting in the tank after that but likely no more than a day
it didn’t seem sick or have any unusual colour or spots but I’m wondering if is this related to my platys change in behaviour
what might be the cause if it resting on the bottom and is there anything I should do?
