Ungrown Plant Seeds A Problem?

I set up a new aquarium with like 2 inches of Tahitian moon sand . I had these dwarf hair grass seeds I bought on amazon that I planted. though I'm not sure if I planted them correctly. they are so small. I kind of just laid down some of the first 20 lb bag and dropped a bunch of seeds around the front and mid rows of the tank. then I used the rest of the bag giving the bottom about a flat 1 inch, I still had a ton of seeds left. so I did the same thing with the first seeding to this top. then I put the final 20 lb bag of sand in there. now I've never done this before. so I'm worried if I screwed it up. or like suffocating the seeds. Will the plants still in their seeds forms if they don't grow cause problems in my tank? or will they try to grow and still be stuck in the sub. I feel as if I made the seeds too deep and should have just stuck with putting them under the second layer only. I'm confused and paranoid so there you go =) I also have some root tabs coming in today some time.

They probably won’t grow and rot in the substrate.

There’s probably nothing you can do. You can wait to see if they’ll float to the surface and remove that way.

well right now my tank is in the nothing in it but wet substrate. supposedly they are supposed to sprout and then I add more water. but its only been a day so ill just wait.

since its sand I guess when I put water in I would just have to move the sand around and they might lift up. that's a few days away, but here's hoping

ignore the puddly reflection , that's just the top of the temp tank I have right below it

Is the light on your tank on? I would wait a few days. Those seeds to grow but they usually take about a week or so.

I bought a fennix planted+ 24/7 and until today I had new light on my temp tank that currently houses my fish, but I switch them and now I have the planted light on the tank you see in the picture. hopefully I did it in time. I just wasn't thinking, but to answer your question the tank is now getting light. and thank you. I'm new and easily paranoid
