I have made several friends at my local Petsmart. I went there today for live sand and some of my friends who work there asked me about adopting a guinea pig. She had been brought back from a customer and was too aggressive with the other guinea pigs they have so she was up for adoption. I went to meet her and she is very sweet and had no adoption fee.
Came home with her, a temporary cage I bought (which is only 30" x 18") until I can get my hands on a C&C cage (they are usually 3' x 2' minimum, but we get the 4' x 2'), food, water bottle, litter, toys, etc.
I'll post pictures once she settles in. Hoping she can stay in my room, but if the dogs don't leave her alone, she will go into my daughter's room or the 3rd bedroom.
