    Hello friends,
    I'm planning on build a new tank, 120cm x 50cm x 50cm. I'm not sure yet of the glass tickness (8mm or 10mm).
But my big question is regarding braces:
1 - how does bracing works?
2 - wich type to use?
3 - should i brace both bottom and top? Or just the top?

I've search the web, but did not find any concrete article about bracing.
Hope you guys can point me in the right direction

No real help to you but bit of Insight of what I had to do to a shop built stand make it more stable not sure of the names of the bracing did a top to bottom on the back diagonal and 5 other vertical pieces on the back

Back was open. Except for middle and either ends had 15x 70mm pine and the front slight wider as it has cupboards doors so my side walls of there stand was it's load bearing

    Tank was a 120cm 50cm 40cm 6mm

Was a shop build was highly disappointed with after reinforcing it wasn't leaning back look like it was going collapse under good gust of wind

Few YouTube Vids out there tank building

Good luck with your build wish I did would been cheaper and built right first time if you can weld I'd go a metal stand and dress it in wood
