UK food types

Dan1984

Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone has any recommendations for food for A. Cacatuoides? Preferably things that can be bought in the UK, so far they have refused but bites, hikari cichlids pellets and tetra micro pellets

Excellent I’ll try and mix it up a bit thanks, glad you added freeze dried I was looking for something to give them that would be an easy option as I plan to feed them frozen food every other day anyway. Thanks

I do a rotation: day 1 frozen or live, day 2 dried foods, day 3 fast day. I have two different sizes: One for the pencils and tetras, one for the Apistogramma.

If you want to feed frozen every other day anyway, do feast day and fast day alternating and just add some vitamins to the frozen food.

That’s great, if that works I’ll probably go with the same. Frozen followed by freeze dried followed by fast day. Thanks very much

You're welcome!

And keep up the diversity with at least 3 different frozen foods and occasional live food.
