Ugggghhh. I’m So Stupid

I was doing a water change last night, and unplugged my filter and heater. This was around 9:15 last night. This morning when I woke up a realized there was no annoying sound of the filter. After I realized I forgot to plug them back in, I immediately plugged it back in (this was around 9:00 this morning) I felt the cartridge, and it was slightly damp. Will I be fine? I am leaving for 3 days in a couple hours. Anything I can do before I go?

 

Is it an HOB filter? If so, the filter is usually filled with water even when it's off. As long as the media stayed submerged, you should be fine.

 

I think a lot of us have made the same mistake, I know I have.
I’d agree with penguin, as long as the media didn’t completely dry out you’ll be fine
