Hey y'all. My LFS just got some fish surrendered to them. I guess the owner was overrun with babies and could not care for them. I was looking at buying them and asked the worker what they were. He said that they did not know the type, just that they were mollies. So i was wondering if y'all could figure it out. They are very small. Smaller than all the other mollies. They are kinda peppered. Like a silver fish peppered with black spots getting more congested as they get to the tail.
Any guesses are appreciated.

Sorry about the blurry pic. They were moving so fast my phone couldn't focus on them

Dalmations.

They're probably smaller due to just being young. Put these guys into a larger tank with good food, and they'll hit 4" pretty easily. Throw 'em in a brackish or saltwater tank, and most mollies can push 5-6". They're small and cute at the LFS, and are recommended for tiny tanks all the time, but people don't realize how big they get!
