Well yesterday was a sad day. I had to rehome my dojo loaches. For months I have been trying to find a nice place for these guys in my tank and thought I had finally found a spot for them in my 40 breeder with sunshine my male severum. They lived together for 5 months with no issue and then sunshine started hunting them a few weeks ago. I had to set up some cover for them so they could hide from him.

I was able to locate someone that will be putting them in a koi pond in the spring. This should be the perfect home for them. I hope one day I will have the chance to keep some of these guys again.

How’s the house coming? I think the last time you updated us, you were hoping to be done by Christmas!

 

That's still the hope. We were supposed to close this coming monday but it's been pushed back. Still holding out hope we'll be in before christmas...but each passing day that looks less likely.

Aww, I hate that you had to give up your loaches. It'll be a nice Christmas gift if you get to spend it in the new house. Crossing my fingers for you!
