Well, another set of baby lovebirds is going through hand training 101. Tweeks and Skweeks are almost all grown up already! They follow me around the house like a couple of puppy dogs! Here are some pics of them growing up.

and a video of them playing with their green sticky note...

Well, I took a video of my two "helpers" this morning. I was building a fire in our fireplace and they wanted to help. Their job was to make sure I had enough kindling to start the fire...

Awwwhawhawwww they are the cutest, coolest little guys ever!
I had to laugh; at 1:00 when they dropped the wood chip.
They looked so surprised! And the way they turned to you and looked at you as if to say "well? you see what just happened? Will you fix it please?"
Beautiful birds! Congratulations on raising them so successfully!

Well, Tweeks and Skweeks are ready to graduate. They are eating on their own and grown up enough to leave "mama". These two will do better going to separate homes - they like to squabble too much for them to share a cage. I had to put the divider in my "training" cage so they would leave each other alone. It's funny though - they still want to be right next to each other all the time. If they can't see or hear each other, they calm down and are ready to cuddle. If they can hear each other, they will screech back and forth to each other until they are together again. Then they start to squabble over who gets to play with what toy, etc.
