5BBCC2A8-6397-4891-9B52-9F323A4A832D.jpeg got this bronze for my flock today. He eats fine swims fine and acts as normal as a fish does on its first day in a new tank (better even)

But can anyone tell if there is something wrong with his eye or if it is a deformity/previous injury?

He’s currently happily scouting the bottom of the tank for leftovers and is breathing just fine so I’m not to worried but if it’s an early sign of disease and preventative care is possible I would like to explore that option his color is good and the water is 0 0 10-20 ph holds rock steady (hard water joke) at 8

The other eye seems to move and is the exact same size, it is just harder to see as it is darker and doesn’t have that goldish pop that the “good” eye has and my other corys do not look this way. If needed I will post more clear pictures but he is quite the skittish little guy since he’s new and is hard to catch out in the open.

Hmmm I believe it's more likely an injury due to the fact it's only in one eye

The good thing is that if it is an injury, it shouldn’t affect them too much. I had a Cory who later in life developed some sort of eye condition where her eyes became milky. (Fish cataracts?) It never affected her much. Cories mainly use their barbels to navigat the world.
