Tubby Frog!

When I got my frogs they were skinny. They've been eating well, even living with a betta
They also seem to like NLSCichlid pellets more than frog pellets.

I don't have the time for frog babies LOL However, I did leave the tank they were in back home full of water because I thought I saw some eggs in the bottom Whats really funny is that my mom is scared of frogs I could just see her walking out to my room, and the supposedly empty tank as little tadpoles swimming around in it

How could anybody be afraid of some of the cutest little buggers on the planet?
My frogs seem to really like NLS Cichlid pellets. I wonder if they want to be fish...

Man, I dunno! She almost killed my the other day because I locked her out of the house and there was a toad! XD She was like:
"LET ME IN, THERES A FROG!!!!!"
*opens door* "That's not a frog. Its a toad!"
"LET ME IN!!!!"
That must mean that ChI wants to be a frog XD

I'm not saying your frog is fat, I think she looks fine and healthy and very cute , but ADF's can get obese if they are overfed.
Usually the female ends up fatter than the males. My female is a much better hunter and just loves to eat. I hand feed them, but she manages to find all the food that gets away. She not fat but I do know she is going to hunt around so I give her slightly less when hand feeding than the males.
Just to be on the safe side, if you think she is getting a little to chubby, you could fast the frogs a couple of times a week or feed every other day.

Yes, strange how it's always the females that become obese. I've seen plenty of overweight males, but none that could be considered to be severely obese, like this poor female. - frogbreeder

very cute froggers. =] my girl is def better at hunting, and seems to be a bit more driven with food. I think mine are a good size, not too fat, not too skinny. =] I do fast them for a day or two sometimes. they like their hbh pellets pretty well. and bloodworms of course

When I had Ventress in with the frogs, she tried to take some food from them. The frog bit her and then stood up and stretched out it's flippers like it was ready to box. I <3 ADF's

so cute seeing them suck up the worms I hand feed mine the worms....so I don't get to see them hunt for those. but they do hunt for the pellets that get away from the tongs. I try to hand feed as much as I can. just to make sure each is getting the right amount. sophie tends to wanna hog too many. little piggy.

I don't hand feed mine (obviously). If they want to eat, they better get it quick. It works well for me, and certainly provides for great entertainment XD
