Piece of lettuce for a while at night will do the trick.

Put some pellets or piece of vegetable in a water bottle and sink it. You might need a rock or something to make sure it stays down. Put it in just before lights off and come back an hour or two later. Take out the water bottle and viola!
I actually just did this5 minutes ago in one of my tanks with a piece of bruised/rotting avocado. I've never used avocado for it before, so we will see how well that works!
