Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section or has been discussed before.

In one of my tanks I have a dozen dwarf neon rainbows, 5 otocinclus and a female Krib. I am having trouble feeding my krib. Whenever I feed flake, bloodworm, tubifex etc. it all gets devoured by the rainbows before it gets to the bottom and the krib very rarely comes to the surface for food. I have tried algae wafers but she doesn't seem interested in them at all and they just rot at the bottom. I have also tried the bug bites for medium to larger fish as they sink however, my rainbows try to eat them and get themselves into trouble as they are too large for their throats.

Does anyone else have any advice on what to feed my kribensis?

Thanks.

Take a piece of plastic tubing big enough for the pellets to go through, then you can target feed the Krib. The Rainbowfish can't reach the food in the tube, and hopefully won't chase it all the way to the bottom.
