Tomorrow, I am getting taken to a fish store.
Problem is I have to pick one.
I have found three, but I have not been to any of them
Ocean Aquarium
JB Tropical Fish
Aquarium Center
Does anyone know of any others, and also, which is the best one out of these. They all have similar good reviews.
Let me know what you think

I went to Fish Factory once, but it was overpriced and filthy.

Precious Pets has pretty good fish, but the condition of their rodents was unacceptable.

I'm not familiar with Ocean Aquarium or JB Tropical fish, but I do buy almost all of my fish from Aquarium Center. If you have never been there, I think you will be really impressed. They have quite a selection.

Do they have a fair amount of tropical Fish?
Ocean Aquarium seems to be mostly salt,
And JB is mostly freshwater.
Maybe I can convince my mom to go to all three....

So, I was at aquarium center....
And it was AWESOME!!
I left with a pair of apistogramma cacatuoides orange flash, a pair of Bolivian rams, and a pair of honey gouramis.
Everything was reasonably priced as well, I paid $8 for the Bolivian ram pair, $16 for the apistogramma pair, and $12 for the honey gourami pair.
Which was amazing because a pair of honey gourami at my fish club auction sold for $40!
I am so excited!

Yeah, I told you that you wouldn't be disappointed. I am very happy after recommending you drive all the way there, that you were pleased. That was a lot of pressure on me!

Lol, I Will definetly be going back. My first stop was Ocean Aquarium, never again. It was pretty much a dump, the lights were so low and tank lights so poor, I could barely see the fish. I like how this place sold a lot as pairs, it is like the first time I have ever seen a female honey gourami in person.

Yeah, I'm not a real big fan of the buying in pairs thing they have now (it didn't use to be that way). I have an all male tank full of Rainbow Fish and when I need to replace a fish or two, I don't want to get a female for fear of the males harassing a lone female. So what they will do is let you buy a single male, or even two males as a slightly reduced cost. For example last week I bought two male Lake Kurumoi Rainbow Fish. They were $25 dollars for a M/F pair. But they were willing to sell me two males for $20 each. And if I wanted just a single male, it would have been $20.

The funny thing is the girl who was getting the Lake Kurumoi Rainbows out of the tank asked me which ones were males. I said if a asked for a M/F pair, how would she know she gave me a M/F pair and not a M/M pair or a F/F pair? She didn't have a real good answer for that, but at least she was honest, which I really appreciate. I hate when people act like they know when they don't.

But that is by far my favorite fish store.

Best of luck with your new fish!

Thanks so much!
What does breeding behavior on those fish look like?

I don't know. I've never had males and females in my tanks. It is always all males, because I don't want breeding to occur.

Oh, ok.
I am thinking about giving the apistogrammas a ten to themselves, the Bolivian rams a 20 or 29 to themselves, and the honey gouramis a 5 Gallon for breeding purposes.

Confirm this is a m/f pair?

I don't know enough about those fish to sex them for you. Maybe if they were Rainbow Fish I could.
