Some of the leaves on my Vallisneria are growing realy long. Should I trim them down? If so how do I do this?

    Thanks

If you cut them, where you cut them will turn brown. Some vals get extremely tall.

Ok. What should I do then? Should I just leave them?

    Thanks

If the plant has shorter leaves you could pull the long ones off at the bottom of the plant. But eventually the leaves are going to be too tall again. They would look cool laying across the top of the water. Just my opinion.

Some of them are laying accross the top of the water, and it does look rather cool. I think I'll leave them as they are.

    Thanks Carol.
