Treating Parasites

    No, Don't mix. (I think API's website says you can, but I don't know why you would.)

    I decided to try good old garlic 1st.. from what i hear the chemical cures can be dangerous if not used very carefully .. still not sure if garlic has worked or not.. but if nothing else will make the fish hungrier lol (as if guppies need that)

    What parasites do the fish have or is this precautionary?

    Not sure what kind of parasites they have but they are pooping white stringy stuff and my lfs said to use general cure

    Okay, internal parasites. Has the white poop stopped? A lot of times you need to treat internal parasites internally with medicated food. I had to do that. I treated the food with General Cure.

    I just did treat them this afternoon so I'm not sure how fast it is supposed to work

    Unfortunately it is not automatic.
    If they continue to have a problem, let us know.
