These two have been tank mates for 2 months, they always get along. I finally upgraded the tank to 20 gallons as 10 didn't seem big enough for the two of them. After cycling my tank for a week and keeping up on everything I transferred them in the new 20 gal, the Banjo cat fish seemed to love it, actually coming out at night and doing what banjos do best, search the bottom for food, the betta seemed okay until this morning. Very lethargic and as you see from the picture chilling ontop of the Banjo lol, the Betta doesn't have any signs of disease, maybe just adjusting to his new environment? They've been in the tank for 72 hours now. 20190408_133956.jpg

Check for ammonia. If you didn't also transfer the cycled filter, decorations or gravel the cycle will have to start all over. Welcome, btw.

PH is 7.6
Ammonia is 0
Nitrite is 0
Nitrate is 2.5

Unfortunate news, the two fish have died.
