Train Fish To Eat Pellets?

I have two apistogrammas that will not eat NLS 0.5mm or 1mm pellets at all. I did some research, and I tried several options with no success.

The following methods I tried:
  • Feed pellets for 2 weeks straight
  • Soak the pellets in unfreezed frozen food so it smells like bloodworms or Mysis shrimp
  • Mix flakes with pellets
  • Starve them out for 3 day
I really can't put pellets inside frozen food because it will not fit.

I'm out of ideas, please help!

Maybe they just don't like pellets. Try something else.
Like some of my mollies won't eat pellets but they'll eat bloodworm or flake

I have not raised apistos but I have heard that they shouldn't be fed prepared foods as the main staple to their diet.
They should mostly be given live and frozen foods.
Brine shrimp, bloodworms, daphnia.

? Do you have any recommendations?

1/2 will flakes. But both will eat any frozen, blood worms, mysis, brine shrimp and daphnia.

Well, I want to get them on pellet because of the nutritional value. Pellets are just loaded with it.

Just feed them what they prefer, the prepared foods are not necessary.

I guess I am left with no other choice but to do that for now.
