trade board suggestion

I don't know if this is technically possible, but it would be really useful if somehow the trade boards could be either split or have a search facility in for your country. there would be no point me looking for a new tank or fish that's in USA or australia for example. also people in big countries such as the US and australia would probably find it easier if they could split it into states. this wouldnt apply to the UK....no point splitting further for the UK as no where is that far away!! - and not many UK members

I have looked a couple of times at this board and I just get impatient trying to find something that's accessible...i.e. in the UK. no point me getting a $1 fish shipped half way around the world!!!!

dont get me wrong I think the diversity of people on this board is fantastic, and generally it doesn't matter what country people are from, but when buying and selling....its crucial!!!!

just a suggestion!!

Good suggestion for people who forget to put it in their post, I know I put it in the first sentence of my post though usually I would put it in the title. The problem with that is that you would have to have Australia, US, GB and other natoins or something. It's really up to Mike and the moderators, it's another board they would have to moderate.

 

atmmachine: yeah, I thought it might be a tricky one. i'm no good with web design and all that malarky!!!!

I guess my next tank and fish might be an ebay job then!!!...I can feel mts setting in and I haven't even got my first tank sorted yet!!

 

One nice thing we have is the small flags under our names to show what country we are from and this gives a clue where the merchandise is coming from.

yeah rose, I think they're fab! figured out last night how to get myself one!!! they certainly are a big help. lets hope everyone gets one!!

To make a lot of things easier you can ask Mike to put in the rules to include the country your in in the title of your post.

I added that "location" thing to the rules under the trade board. Great suggestions everyone.
