Touching Discus?

HI all I've recently gotten into keeping discus and I tried hand feeding them last week. I kind of regret it because they are all like little puppies now. Whenever I do maintenance they think I'm feeding and rush to nibble at my hand / arm. I am a little concerned about their sensitive slime cost because in their frantic scramble to find the nonexistent food, some brush against me.
Could this potentially be harmful to their coating?

Are they just always hungry fish or am I not feeding enough?
4 feedings a day
- frozen bloodworms
- discus biogold
- freeze dried black worms
- frozen bloodworms

Hello! (If I'm wrong or have left something fortunately others would correct)

Its normal for fish to go crazy when food is given to them.
How many do you have?

I would say 4 times a day is a little overfeeding as I've experienced my fish used to suffer indigestion
Feed them only twice a day!
Also its no worry If they rush at your hand they should be fine !

Main thing is no matter what even if you have fed them they still act hungry don't get soft usually fish suffer constipation when owners feed them too much
I hope this helps.

You must have a big tank then
Touching then is OK unless it's more than that
Even I simply touch(not press)
Their slimy skin
Don't worry

Also 3 small portions of feeding is quite enough for them even if they look like they have been starving

Yeah, I agree. We're talking little gentle brushes. Not chasing them down, tackling them then rolling them over and drumming on their stomach like I'd do to my dog(who loves it, btw) They're not so delicate occasionally brushing something will hurt them.

I would have to respectfully disagree with this. the entire reasoning we recommend large water changes is because we also recommend many small feedings a day of a variety of foods that can be messy at least.
as juvies they really require many feedings and water changes to help them reach their full potentional.
4-6 feedings a day is always recommended......

Since I'm new I would accept your comment/suggestion

I was just worrued feeding too much would cause constipation as ive experienced

Well like you said
Just like a new born they need optimum nutrition to keep them healthy in the future
