Ive been searching for some answers with no luck.
I recently bought a 75 gal marineland aquarium, i purchased the topfin large canister filter for it l, it says good for 60 to 80 gal tanks. Problem is i cant find any specs on it. Like which way does it flow, clean water comes from the top or bottom?
What is the gph of the pump?

Anyonw have any insight on this

This is PetSmart's new canister filter that replaced the National Geographic brand canister which was made by Eheim. From the looks of this filter it does not look like it is made by Eheim or any other popular filter manufacturer. Normally, when it says its good for a certain size tank, you should always get one thats says its built for a tank bigger than your actual tank.

I guess when i get home ill just have to test the gph and do some other tinkering to get the answers i need. You would think they would have some sort of spec sheet and flow diagram for these thing.

Aqueon recently came out with canister filters as well, but they don't look quite like that.
The Aqueon units also come with a HOB water polishing unit.

    Quite similar though.

For the price, this top fin canister doesn't seem worth it.

To be honest, so far, is silent and with the outlet nozzle that comes with it, it aggitates over halve of the surfave of the tank, my water cleared up in about 4 to 5 days of setting a whole new aquarium
