????? Sounds like you need a new accountant..

That is what being in business is all about, you must be making Huge profits if you can't offset most with expenses. If that is the case, maybe you need to be insuring all your employees with health insurance! They have just introduced a bill in our state legislature that will see that people like us will do that (my husband and I have a small business also).

I own a dance studio and all of our teachers are independent contractors, so we don't have to provide health insurance. We usually don't owe a lot in taxes, we just don't get anything back. I would like it if we could have a fulltime accountant though It would make my life a lot easier!

3. 'invest' in lottery tickets. ;D

4. buy the wife something nice on our cruise - that should help for when I do something bad.

Hmmm. We get our annual bonus at work at the same time as taxes sooooo....

1) pay cash for our wedding which is March 2009 (we're doing destination so it's a little less expensive)

2) the boy wants a new tv for the living room

3) heavier tank decor so Oscar doesn't move it...

4) buy a few powerball tickets and pray for early retirement

5) save whatever is left

1. paid for new insurance/registration and transfer of tags to my new car and paid my old car off YEA!
2. booked a cruise for my sisters 21st birthday to Miami, ft. Lauderdale and then Cozemel!
3. bought some retro Blues Clues toys for my daughter on eBay
4. Some needed fish supplies
5. BILLS! ew.

It's all gone.

Hopefully I will be getting an engagement ring with my bf's tax return. I love 2008 already. New car, new rings, a VACATION! Wooo!

I was thinking of spending my tax return on a nice night out with my wife. Unfortunately $7 won't even pay for the gas to get to a decent restaurant.
