Top fin 20G filter doesn't work

Who knew how to fix Topfin filter 20G? It stopped working after long time break in my garage. I even cannot figure out how to break apart piece to check, it looks like the motor was fixed in the box.

 

Take it to petsmart and see if you can get a replacement. I think they have a lifetime gaurentee.

 

The impeller can be removed along with the intake tube, but the motor creating the magnetic field is sealed in the housing.

That part you don't really need to get to.

It's the impeller.

Remove it and give it a good cleaning, reinstall it and try again

 

What problem are you having with it? If it's rattling you're better off getting a new filter, Top Fin isn't a great brand in my experiences with their stuff

 

figure it out, the impeller missed during moving, where to get a cheap impeller?

 

They don't sell replacements unfortunately.
