Golden wonder killifish
love the sound of a killifish mostly because they are so beautiful!!
don't know much about the fish species and am a bit worried if they would hurt my tetras or if they can survive is a strongish current??
would love to hear from someone with more experience with the fish!!

I had one a year ago that was getting pretty big, then my bala shark killed him :(.
This guy I have now is pretty small and swims perfectly fine in the current of my 950gph wave maker so I wouldnt be too concerned with that.
The golden wonder apparently gets bigger than most killifish @around 5 -6 inches.
I need too get 2 more so they can shoal.
I have mostly bottom dwellers in their with him, my previous killifish was in the 28 gallon with my white skirt tetras with no issues so I think their you are safe as well :)
Meet bill the killifish(kill bill) get it?
When I get my others they will be bill2 and bill3 lol

Omg love bill
So adorable!! Definitely makes want to get one!
Great to hear that they get along with tetras and can survive in sort of a strongish current!
Definitely won’t get a Bala shark that’s for sure!
thanks so much for the reply I think I know the new members to my tank!! Lol

Yeah no dont get a bala until you can get 3 and have a nice huge tank for them.
My 135 gallon is cycling right now and that will be home for them.
I like odd ball fish so I read all the time about their maintenance.
Ever heard of a Black ghost knife fish????, i bet not lol. I have 1 they get a massive 20in long so he too will be in the 135

here is an example from my 120. I do platy’s neons and cherry barbs. Have been in the tank for years together. No problem. Like to push the envelope on what people think you can or cannot do, within reason.

I love my platies. They come in every color and they will swim on the top, middle and even bottom layer.

They’re really nice fish to have !

Was really interested in the golden wonder killifish, definitely something I will be looking in to!!
Guppies sound awesome as well happy that they go with angelfish so I’ve decided that I will go for the killifish but if goes to custard I’ll go for guppies and/or rainbow fish!
Thanks for all the help and ideas!!:)
