First off, (Not being rude :) )

    - Get 4 - 6 More Tetras they are schooling fish.

    - Centerpiece could be 1 Dwarf Gourami (If that’s what you like.)

    - Also, you can never have a “Too small stocking” :)

Hope that helped and hope it didn’t come off rude ;)

    They have a 20 Gal.

I think you should be fine. The other tetras that are not breeding may eat the eggs.

You should be good to go!
Also make sure you have Driftwood for your Pleco, it’s good for the digestive system.
    I’d say

    1 Dwarf Gourami ( Centerpiece )
    6 Neon Tetras
    5 Zebra Danios
    BN Pleco
    2 Snails

There you go that should get you an idea!

Yup! 3 at a time is good!

    1 Bolivian Ram ( Centerpiece )
    6 Neon Tetras

    1 Bristlenose Pleco
    2 Snails

Sorry somehow they just got some in stock or I misread they do have a dwarf gourami thank you!

Is it ok to have only one dwarf gourami
  13. NC122606Valued MemberMember

It’s all good, yeah I would have 1 Dwarf Goruami is fine. They often beat up on each other since they don’t like their own kind. ;)

This is kind of unrealated to the thread but my filter current is overpowering my fish since I took out a tall decoration. Will a live plants slow it or do I need another decoration and if a live plant would stop it would Moss work. Sorry this is a lot I was just wondering.

I personally wouldn't put two schooling fish in a tank this size, instead try to stick to one large school of fish along with any bottom dwellers or centerpiece fish that you are wanting.

    So I can’t have
    3 tetras
    3 danios
    1 dwarf gourami
    1 BN pleco
    2 snails

You should keep the schooling fish at a minimum of six, and I personally wouldn't do two schoolers if you are going with danios, those fish are extremely active and need room to swim horizontally.

They seemed fine before when I had
    3 guppies
    3 zebra danios
    2 neon tetras
    1 otocinculus
    1 BN pleco
    2 snails

Would my fish right now be ok if I had 6 of the other and two of them
