Too much substate?

Now, keep in mind this tank is only a temporary (6 months or so) home for the Bleeding Heart Tetra and 5-7 cory cats. I eventually want to have either some banjo cats, a clown pleco, or some loaches, all of which are burrowing animals. I have sand in it now, but I think I may have gone a little over board. Any input is appreciated, since it'll be much easier to change BEFORE I have livestock in it. The tank is a standard 29.

Nice tank set up! IMO there is a lot of sand there, but it really should not affect anything.

okay, so I added plants and fishies!!!! Not that you can tell I've got fish in there, but they'll come out sooner or later. . . .
