I have a 15 gallon tank with 6 guppies in it. I'd like to ad 5 amano shrimp and 5 cherry shrimp. It's been running for 8 months and is heavily planted. Too many shrimp, or no?

Definitely not you could have a few hundred shrimp in there with no problems

Thanks for the response. I want to avoid overstocking, glad this is ok.

That's an awesome picture richiep, those are your shrimps right? What is that bottle thing on the right with the foam around the base?

Richie is totally right, although I’d add that it depends on the shrimp. For MOST shrimp, you can stock the living daylights out of a tank. Some, like bamboo shrimp, you need to dial it back.
